Estudio comparado de la estructura social de un grupo heteroespecífico de psitácidos (Aves, Psittacidae) en cautividad

Abstract

The social behaviour of a heterospecific captive group of Parrots (Psittacidae) from two distribution aras (Southamerica and Afroasia) is studied. To interpret social relationships and how the vary with the size and composition of the group, agonistic and anagonistic patterns quantified and a Morphological Index of Sociability has been calculated By the means of the pair-bond and the degree of sociability, Afroasian and Southamerican species can be differenciated.
