Parablennius pilicornis (Cuvier, 1829) (Pisces, Blenniidae), first record in the Catalonian Sea (NWMediterranean)
The capture of three specimens of Parablennius pilicornis (Cuvier, 1829) in the littoral of Palamós is the first record in the Catalonian Sea. After a great research along the coast of Palamós, these specimens have only been seen near the rocky blocks of the commercial harbour and on the rocky bottoms, at a depth between three and four metres. These fishes were caught in November and December 1987 and in May 1988. Description and biometric and meristic mesures are given.
