Population structure and phenology of waders at Chozas Lagoon, Leon province (N Spain)
During almost five years, 143 counts were made at Chozas Lagoon, a 14.9 ha inland wetland area. The number of specimens of each species along the year was studied as well as the dates of the migratory peaks of the most common species. The variety of species grows during the pre-nuptial migratory period. The dates of the migratory peaks are different from those of other latitudes.
