Hypocacculus (Nessus) caeruleoviridis sp. n. de Namibia (Coleoptera, Histeridae)

Resumen

Hypocacculus (Nessus) caeruleoviridis n. sp. is described from Namibia. Following the species classification keys proposed by Reichard this one should be placed near to H. (Nessus) otiocerus Reichard, 1932. It is related to H. (Nessus)pulcher Vienna, 1988, by its shiny surface. It differs from it in several characteristics: prosternal striae, male genitalia and puncturation of the area between lateral metasternal striae and metasternal-metepistemal suture, with a smooth zone in the new species.
