Presence of little sleeper shark Somniosus rostratus (Risso, 1826) in the Catalonian Sea (Mediterranean Sea)
The capture of two specimens of little sleeper shark Somniosus rostratus in the Catalonian Sea is the first record in the Mediterranean Iberic waters. These sharks were caught in 2 VIII 1987 and 16 V 1994. Sex and biometry of the specimens are given.
