Resumen

Microturbellaria from the Iberian Peninsula
Eight species of freshwater Microturbellaria belonging to the orders Macrostomida (Microstomun lineare) and Neorhabdocoela (Castrella (C.) truncata, Dalyellia viridis, Microdalyellia armigera, Krumbachia subterranea, Strongylostoma simplex, Rhynchomesostoma rostratum, and Mesostoma punctatum) are recorded for the first time from the Iberian Peninsula. New records of Catenula lemnae, Stenostomun leucops, S. unicolor (Order Catenulida) and of Olisthanella truncula, Bothromesostoma personatum, and Mesostoma productum (Order Neorhabdocoela) are also presented. The species were collected from eight localities in the provinces of Cuenca, Guadalajara and Madrid. The presence in the Iberian Peninsula of some species, hitherto considered to be of restricted distribution in the North and Central Europe, is briefly discused.
